This comprehensive online course provides the theoretical knowledge required to safely identify, enter, and work within confined spaces in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 and applicable industry standards. Participants will learn how to recognize permit-required confined spaces, understand atmospheric and physical hazards, and apply appropriate entry procedures, controls, and rescue planning. The course covers key roles and responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors, as well as the use of atmospheric testing equipment, ventilation, and personal protective equipment (PPE). This program fulfills the classroom (theory) portion of confined space entry training; all required hands-on practical evaluations must be completed in person at a later date. A certificate of completion is automatically issued upon successfully passing all quizzes and the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
