Welding Level 2: Pipe Welding & AWS Certification builds on the fundamentals learned in Level 1 by introducing students to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) of pipe and the skills required for qualification-level welding. The course covers pipe identification, preparation and fit-up, weld passes, pipe welding positions (1G, 2G, 5G, and 6G), weld inspection, and certification standards. Students will develop the knowledge needed to produce quality pipe welds and understand the procedures, testing, and workmanship expectations required for industry-recognized certification.
